Showcasing Footscray Park and Gardens

Footscray Park is registered as a Historic Place in Victoria
because it is historically important as the largest and most intact
Edwardian garden in the State. It’s design excellence, stone
structures and ponds and rich plant collection are recognized for
their aesthetic and historical importance.
Footscray Park, Henry Turner Reserve South and Doug Mills Reserve (land
surrounding the Footscray Boat Club). Portions of this area
(Doug Mills Reserve, the floodplains and river edge of Footscray
Park) are managed by Parks Victoria. The remaining areas are
managed by Maribyrnong City Council.
